Bad Kreuznach [baht KROYTS-nahkh]
The center of Germany’s Nahe wine region, Bad Kreuznach is a spa-resort town (bad translates to “bath” or “spa”). In addition, it gives its name to the Bereich Kreuznach, which covers the southern portion of the Nahe anbaugebiete. Kronenberg is the well-known Grosslage, whose vineyards surround Bad Kreuznach. Some of the best einzellagen include Brückes, Kahlenberg, Krötenpfuhl, and Steinweg.
