Côtes de Saint-Mont VDQS [koht duh sahn-MOHN]
A VDQS area located in Southwest France just south of Armagnac and next to Madiran. côtes de Saint-Mont produces red and rosé wines from Tannat, a local variety, blended with Fer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Small amounts of dry white wine are produced mainly from Arrufiac, Courbu, and Manseng.
