Erzeugerabfüllung [AYR-tsoy-guhr-AB-few-lung]
A German term meaning “producer bottled” and having a meaning somewhat similar to estate bottled. The major difference is that German cooperatives, which blend wines from various members, can use the term. The term Gutsabfüllung is much more restrictive and is much closer to the use of the term “estate bottled” in the United States.
