Fiano di Avellino DOC [fee-AH-noh dee ah-veh-LEE-noh]
Highly regarded, dry white wines that are made with at least 85 percent of the indigenous Fiano grape. This DOC zone is located in the hills surrounding Avellino and twenty-five other villages, east of Naples in Italy’s Campania region. “Fiano di Lapio” on the label indicates that the wine was made from grapes grown in the classical area just northeast of Avellino near the village of Lapio.
