Kasel [KAH-zuhl]

Ruwer River village that is the largest and most important in this rustic section of Germany’s Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. Kasel produces high-quality Riesling wines that are elegant, yet powerfully fragrant. The best einzellagen here are Herrenberg, Hitzlay, Kehrnagel, and Nies’chen.
