Ruppertsberg [ROOP-uhrts-berk]

One of several adjoining towns, including Deidesheim, Forst, and Wachenheim, that produce some of the best wines of Germany’s Pfalz region. These appealing wines are made from Riesling, Scheurebe, and Sylvaner. The top wines come from the einzellagen of Gaisböhl, Hoheburg, Nussbien, Reiterpfad, and Spiess.
