Paul Franson
Paul Franson is a free-lance writer specializing in wine, travel and food as well as Wine Country living.
He contributes a weekly column on business in upper Napa Valley to the Napa Valley Register and a monthly column for visitors to Inside Napa Valley as well as features to both publications.
Franson writes regularly about wine for the Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Senior Connections, Wine Business and Vineyard & Winery Management. He also contributes wine, food, travel and lifestyle articles to Appellation Wine Country Living, California Visitor Review and the Reno Gazette Journal as well as other publications. He's a member of the Bay Area Travel Writers and Napa Valley Culinary Alliance.
His book, High Tech, High Hope, was published in 1998 (Upside/John Wiley) and he also writes about high tech business.
He was previously a trade and business magazine reporter and editor, and worked in corporate and agency public relations, having founded Franson, Hagerty & Associates, one of Silicon Valley's most prominent public relations agencies in the 1980's. He has been free-lance writing since 1995.
