Andrea Robinson

Andrea Robinson has a down-to-earth and energetic approach to wine and food pairings, making wine more approachable to thousands of consumers and professionals around the world.  She is one of 14 women in the world appointed Master Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and the first woman Best Sommelier, nominated by the Sommelier Society of America.  After graduating with honors from the French Culinary Institute in New York City, she became their first Dean of Wine Studies.  She is the Master Sommelier for Delta Air Lines, has won multiple literary awards and is in the James Beard Foundation’s “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America,” and the list goes on and on…

She has written several wine books, including Great Wine Made Simple, Andrea Immer’s Wine Buying Guide for Everyone, Great Tastes Made Simple and Everyday Dining with Wine.  She appears live, in print and on TV through multiple publications and channels including the Food Network’s “Cooking Live Primetime,” “Hot off the Grill” and “Emeril Live,” Health Magazine, Esquire, and Real Simple.  She’s been featured in many periodicals and won Mother of the Year from Working Mother.

She is a frequent speaker and consultant for many wine and food worthy causes, including the Wine Market Council’s WineAnswers.com.
