This wine is intriguing from start to spicy finish. I'd love to taste this wine with a spicy spaghetti dish - but alas, it was in a tasting. What can you do but dive in? The nose hits me with green peppers mixed with an interesting workout mat component that isn't entirely unpleasant! There are illusive jalapeno peppers peaking out from behind cherry and apricot flavors as I taste the wine - like liquefied pepper jelly. The finish continues with peppers and tart cherry flavors, with a great acidity that makes it perfect to pair with pasta meals. I'm impressed - I'd rock this Ruby any day!
