It's hard to do - there are fruit-forward Chardonnays, oaky-creamy-buttery Chardonnays, mineral Chardonnays - - so tasting this Chardonnay from Manzoni Estate was a lesson in Chardonnay because it personifies a bit of it all! The nose is caramel corn and banana peel, the flavors are toasty oak and the finish is sea salt and lemon juice- a grab bag of delicious flavors you should definitely seek out!
