In our tasting last week, this was my gold, double gold, best in class. . . or it would have been if there was any other Cabernet. For a 2005 this is drinking really nicely!!! On the nose there is nuances of rare meat and anise seed. On your palate it is round and lush with a hint of vege in the mid-palate. . . is that spinach or brussel sprouts? Regardless it's delicious. The finish is long with hints of spice and espresso. I would pair this with red meat and drink it all day. Or you could cellar one or two and see how it looks in 5 years. . . . I bet it would be beautiful.
