Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
The 2005 Optima Orgaz Zin is a rich port-style dessert wine made from late-harvested Zinfandel grapes. It features distinct concentrated berry fruit aromas of blackberry and raspberry as well as ripe black Mission fig and hazelnuts. The delicious sweet, ripe fruit flavors and toasty oak blend together with flavors of lush blueberry and dried dates in a rich, dense, candied finish.
