The grapes for this Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot came exclusively from Regan Estate Vineyards. The cool climate growing condition is responsible for producing an intense dark cherry and berry aroma in this wine. There is black pepper spice with hints of tobacco and menthol. The wine has firm tannins with a full mouthfeel and will continue to develop into the bottle for the next 3-5 years.
