Part of the wonderful legacy of wine is that down through the ages, wine had been proudly portrayed in art, from Egyptians to present day. Each year the LA VITA SERIES showcases one masterpiece in which wine has been portrayed. the 2002 LA VITA label features Vendangeuse "The Grape Picker" (oil on canvas) by William Bouguereau (1825-1905). The 2002 LA VITA displays deep ruby color. The expansive boquet shows and intriguing blend of plums, spice and cedar. The five years aging delivers a wine with a velvety palate, rich flavors and a delicate oak finish.
