Fermentation Notes
The grapes were harvested in early October 2006 at 23 brix. They were transferred to a cold storage facility and frozen down to minus 5 degrees centigrade. They were then pressed frozen to produce beautiful Riesling Ice Wine juice at 41 brix. The wine fermented slowly for two months producing a nectar for the Gods.
Vintage Notes
Grown just south of Ukiah on the Nelson Ranch in Mendocino County. Nestled in an upland side canyon this 32 year old Riesling vineyard produces small yields of flavorful Riesling grapes.
