This wine exhibits a dark plum/purple color as well as a big, rich perfume of toffee, mocha, chocolate, espresso roast, and berry fruit. Medium-bodied, pure, and elegant, with an attractive, savory finish. Drink now or improve with age over the next ten to twelve years.
Vintage Notes
The Merlot for this wine comes from a small vineyard located on a South facing hill in the Livermore appellation. The vineyard is small and meticously maintained which produces rich and intense fruit.
