The 2005 vintage produced a modest crop of fruit with intense flavors and firm structure. Fragrant aromas of cherries and spice lead to lush fruit flavors of cherry and blackberry. This fusion of fruit, a touch of oak, and ripe tannins will develop more complexity with further aging. Enjoy with Duck Confit, Cassoulet, hearty stews.

The fruit was sourced exclusively from our estate vineyards, planted in 1999 and 2000. The Syrah is planted with a "Shiraz" selection and a Chateau Beaucastel selection. The Grenache Noir is a Chateau Beaucastel selection.
