A very "user friendly" yet complex Syrah. Dark fruit and warm earth come together to form this rich and delicious Comubia Valley red. The 2 vineyards produce very different fruit characteristics and together with 3 different yeast straings deliver the complexity in this wine. Pair with duck, pork or pizza.

In the tradition of Syrah
This wine is incredibly drinkable. Perfume and wheat fields on the nose, lead to a metallic vanilla component at first sip. There is a fleshiness to this wine that is very appealing. There are copper notes on the finish and nice clean fruit. A great offering from Basalt Cellars.
