Sauvignon Blanc (Fumé Blanc) (White)
Arroyo Seco
$18.00/bottle
Radog's Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh take on the popular style favored in New Zealand. With fresh lime and pink grapefruit on the nose, this wine finishes with fat glycerin balanced with crisp acidity. In the Arroyo Seco area of the Monterey AVA sits cedar Lane vineyard, our source. It is managed by Michael Griva of the Griva vineyard (where the 90 point Bernardus Sauvignon Blanc fruit comes from) and neighbor's it. Like our Gewürztraminer, the Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in stainless steel. Enjoy this wine today! "This Sauvignon shows some interesting terroir and sweet fruits along with crisp acidity and a tangy aftertaste. Dried candied citrus, lemon-lime and pear notes lead the way and zesty cleansing acid keeps it together. This white makes for a good afternoon picnic wine and or fruit and cheese. 88 Points, grapelive"
