Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

Francis Coppola presents the Sofia Mini! These are the one-of-a-kind Sofia Minis, our Proseco style sparkling wine presented in delightful aluminum containers. Excellent for all special occasions, from gala openings to bridal showers. Picnics too! Each Mini comes with a straw attached to add to the fun.
The grapes for our Sofia are grown in northern Monterey County where gentle breezes from Monterey Bay contribute to the long, cool growing season. In this environment Pinot Blanc, the main component of Sofia, ripens optimally and develops ripe flavors while still preserving vibrant acidity in the grapes.
