Winery Philosophy

San Saba Vineyards has been making award-winning wines in very limited quantities since 1981. Located at the foot of the Santa Lucia Highlands, just outside Monterey, California, the 70 acre vineyard is planted in chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, and merlot. San Saba wines are complex and distinctive. The "Lions" label is sought after by connoisseurs who appreciate our small production amounts and value San Saba's handcrafted nature. Bocage, our other label, uses only estate-grown grapes and has a fresh, easy-to-drink style.
