Bouchaine is the oldest continuous operated winery in Carneros, Napa Valley. Winemaker Michael Richmond has been making wine in Napa for over 35 years, specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He feels that wine should be drinkable, not simply big, bold, or only enjoyable for the first few sips. His Chardonnays, made of 100% estate fruit from our own vineyards, are deftly crafted to show complexity and liveliness, not a cloak of oak. His Pinots show the multi-dimensional complexities of beautiful Carneros Pinots, with a seamless balance of spice, fruit, smoke, and earth.
